"A fudge-like chocolate character mingles with dark cherry and black raspberry confiture, vanilla and toasted almond on a silken-textured and glycerol-rich palate that nonetheless preserves welcome fresh berry-juiciness and tart fruit skin edge.  This polished, succulent (not an adjective I'd until recently thought relevant to its genre!), soothing, long-finishing elixir is not in the least superficially sweet but instead preserves a sense of balance that will encourage either solo consumption or pairing with desserts."
